Finally decided to blow the dust off of my Muxtape account and put it to work. So here goes… no real order, just a simple (and very random) playlist of tracks that I’ve been amping lately: The Gureala Muxtape. Btw, feel free to favorite me!

(sidenote: Wordpress 2.5 is starting to get a little glitchy on me! Anyone else having any issues?)

    WordPress gave me the blues this morning :(. It's all gravy right now though. I hope this doesn't become a regular occurrence.
  • Yeah, 2.5.1 I think fixes that saving issue. I've always relied on Firefox’s (or OS X’s ?) auto spell checker so I didn’t even know it was gone. SUCKS. There’s tons of other little quirks that weren’t issues until they tried to fix something that already worked. A lot of people are hating on it in the forums, so hopefully the hateration will lead to some good for a change.

    Not sure if its the browser here at the office, but some of these problems are pretty strange and annoying. I'll click save while typing posts and instead of the page being refreshed, I'm directed out to the manage posts view. I'm also noticing that it doesent "auto save" as frequently as the last build did. and whats up with "spellcheck" being taken out of the mix?! I'm gonna give 2.5.1 a closer look later on to see if it addresses these issues.

    Yeah man Wordpress 2.5 LOOKS GREAT. But some of the changes they made were completely unnecessary. The widget functionally is like a step back to Windows 95. Adds like 4 times the amount of clicks as ALL of the earlier versions. The image uploader is lame too…the ONLY plus is that you can upload multiple images, but everything else is a step back — Mainly the way it automatically resizes full size images. It cool on a clean slate install of Wordpress. But if you switch the theme and the images need to be larger than 500px, you’re screwed. They released 2.5.1 but it no changes were made. It’s completely put my Theme development projects on hold.
    The WP developers definitely tried to fix something that wasn’t broke in my opinion.
