CNN & the Holograms

Just as I was beginning to think we’d seen all there was to see in this golden age of technology, a glimpse of the mountaintop:

Unbelievable! My jaw literally dropped to the floor in disbelief when I caught this during last night’s broadcast. I mean, I know we’ve made tremendous leaps on the technology front in recent years but, holograms, like this, never saw it coming.

  • I gotta jump in and say this.

    Was out w/ some co-workers for cocktails and they made me feel super LOW, HAHAHA!

    They weren't impressed w/ these so-called "holograms" to any extent. Their major disappointment was that Anderson Cooper really couldn't see the projection, he could only hear it. He was told where to focus so that it appeared as if he was really communicating w/ the projection.

    I still thought it was cool, but it lost about 25 of 50 cool points for me.
