What is there to write about anymore? Why write here when I can, Tweet? Why Tweet, and limit my ideas to 140 characters when I can explore them without limits here? Who cares?

On one hand, I feel like I’ve forgotten how to do this, why I do this. On the other hand, well, I’m not sure. I do know that I miss it, though. The lights have been out long enough around here. Proceed and continue, I shall.

From the looks of the trailer, this Black Dynamite flick is gonna be official! A couple times I actually thought I was watching a genuine Blaxploitation piece from the 70’s. Peep the color, the costumes, the over top fight scenes and all the essential Blaxpo character types…they’ve got all the elements down to a tee! [H/T: LTL]

I hate to start things off on such a somber note, but I caught this video of Tupac performing an acapella version of “Keep Your Head Up” on TSS earlier, and, well, considering all that’s going on at the moment–the Def Jam family dealing with the loss of Shakir Stewart; all the folks catching a critical beatdown at the hands of the economy; and the many voters bracing for the worst as we head into tomorrow’s election–I thought I’d echo Beware’s sentiments, and repost this here as a reminder to all to stand tall and keep the faith during these turbulent times:
